  • About Cristina’s Style

    As a newborn and child photographer (and mum), I am in love with the beauty and innocence of childhood. I love the smiles and the frowns, the giggles and the raspberries, the twirls and the roly-polys. I love to document the perfect imperfections of those first days of babyhood, the quiet slumbers and mum and dad's emotions as they first get to know their little wonder.

    My portraits are evocative, fresh and, above all, real. I am passionate about capturing that beauty that inspires me every day, as naturally as possible. Just as every child is unique, no photo shoot is the same as any other. Experimenting with locations, textures, colours and light, I pride myself in delivering each client a set of timeless character portraits, brimming with soul and joie de vivre.

From Canada, with Love

Last weekend, I met V and A, a delightful Canadian couple who have settled just down the road from me and are now expecting their first baby. On the occasion of their maternity shoot, we visited the Roman Ruins at Silchester at sunset, a perfect location with a serene and classic atmosphere. V, you’re absolutely radiant, and it’s clear to see why A is so smitten with you! Your excitement is infectious  - I just can’t wait to meet your little one in September for his/her newborn photo shoot!

Cherub
Alton, Andover, Basingstoke Baby Photographer

Just one little teaser from last weekend’s session. With that adorable little face,  those chubby cheeks and blond curls, every time I took a shot of little R  I just couldn’t help thinking that he looks just like a sweet little cherub! (I promise I won’t photoshop any wings on him though! Ha!) The shoot took place at his grandparents’ beautiful farmhouse near Alton, what a fabulous place for portraits that was. We got so much variety! More to come in the next few weeks:)

Fun in the Sun
Fleet, Guildford, Farnborough Children’s Photographer

Meet 10-month-old baby T, cute as a button, and his sweet big sisters L and K. On the occasion of T’s first ever professional portraits, we went for a walk around Hartley Wintney, strawberry picking with his big sisters at first (while he took a cool morning nap), and then around the town’s beautiful common. What little troopers all three of them were – even on such a hot day, they soldiered on like real pros! I am so proud of them and the beautiful portraits we got on the day. Here are a few of my favourites!

Special thanks go to Daddy for scaring away the angry goose from this lovely little spot.

One
Andover, Alton, Fleet Children’s Photographer

The last time I met little T’s family, last September, it was on the occasion of his big sister’s one-year-old portraits (remember?). This gorgeous little man was only a couple of months old at the time, and slept soundly throughout the session – so I never got a chance to photograph him. But fortunately, I had the pleasure of being invited back by the lovely P family last weekend, as T has just turned one and it’s now his turn to have his portraits taken!

Just like last time, we visited some really fantastic locations right on the family’s doorstep near Andover, and came away with a great set of portraits for T and of course, plenty of his big brother and sister too. Although, you’ll have to stay tuned for those;)Here’s a little taster of what’s to come!

More from little H’s newborn session. I just couldn’t believe how well she slept for a six-week-old baby! So beautiful and scrummy, too – hope you won’t mind the image overload, hehe. Thanks again Mama C and Papa P, it was a pleasure to meet you all!
