My name is Cristina and I am a professional children and family photographer based in Basingstoke, Hampshire, UK. I specialise in bespoke portraits of newborns, babies, children, teenagers and families. My passion is working outdoors, on location - whether in the beautiful English countryside, or in rugged urban spots. With younger babies, shoots usually take place at home, just being themselves in the surroundings they know best!
I cover North Hampshire and West Berkshire, including Basingstoke, Bramley, Andover, Hook, Fleet, Farnborough, Winchester, Alton, Aldershot, Kingsclere, Old Basing, Harley Wintney, Reading, Newbury and surrounding areas. I will also travel further afield - please contact me for details!

Outside of work, I am married to my loving husband of eight years and mum to two very sweet and lively little girls of 5 years and 20 months respectively. My little muses keep me on my toes, and sometimes even make star appearances on this blog.

S and G are expecting a bouncy baby boy in early February, and they are thrilled to bits! Before little L makes his grand entrance, they wanted to celebrate this very special moment in their lives with the ‘boys’, their two gorgeous huskies, with a lifestyle portrait shoot in this beautiful countryside location close to their home.

As I haven’t updated my blog in a while, I thought I’d bring you some post-holiday cheer with some new portraits of two very special little people

Looking back at a busy and exciting year, I feel very fortunate to have been able to share time with my clients, getting to know them and taking portraits of their beautiful families and children in some truly breathtaking locations.
In no particular order, here are just a few of my favourite images of 2009 (click on each to enlarge)! Thank you to everyone for making this a great year to remember!
Miss G is turning five in December, and I just cannot believe what a big girl she’s turned into! One of the best things about her growing up is that she’s a lot happier to ‘be the star’ in front of the camera these days and no longer shying away from me. So off we went on a casual explore in the open land just behind our local Argos (of all places!) so I could capture a few of her, just being herself. We only had a quick half hour before we lost all light, but we managed a good run around (and much hilarity ensued when mummy stepped into *something* a naughty doggie left behind!)
So, to my sweet little G – here you are in all your beauty, just a few weeks before your fifth birthday. Love, Mummy xxx
These two beautiful little girls were a a delightful mix of mischief and sweetness. They were a total pleasure to shoot (just look at the expressions on those little faces!) but they gave me a full and total workout – who needs personal trainers, eh 
A special thank you to Mum and Dad for suggesting these stunning countryside locations near Maidenhead for our session, they were a perfect backdrop for these autumnal portraits and it’s obvious that the girls had a great time exploring!
Early October, the leaves are turning red and starting to fall. The air is fresh, clean but not cold. Can you tell I just *love* shooting outdoors in the Autumn! This beautiful family couldn’t have chosen a better time for their portraits. Little C really enjoyed his walk out in the pretty parkland – we kicked some leaves, threw some rocks in the water, sampled the local blackberries, all the while taking some stunning photos. Thank you to the P family – I hope you love your pictures as much as I do!
Little H turned a year old just a couple of months ago, and it was to celebrate her first year that I visited her and and her family near Andover for a very chilled out shoot at their home and in the beautiful fields and church nearby. We had a really fun walk (it was warmer than it looked!), we got plenty of great images of H and her big brother G – and by the end of the shoot, this city girl was completely convinced that the countryside really is the best way to grow up after all! Thank you for the P family for such an enjoyable time.

It is a little known fact that, although I specialise in young children and families, I occasionally have the fortune to shoot beautiful grown-ups, too This is gorgeous A, with whom I spent a few hours in London, capturing her effervescent and charming personality.
