Stunning baby H came to see me last week for her newborn portraits. Her mummy and daddy had travelled all the way from the Isle of Wight and were rather looking forward to seeing their sweet baby girl curled up in the traditional newborn poses they loved so much.
At six weeks old, and well rested after a long car journey, she might very well have decided that the world was far too interesting to go back to sleep… and indeed she was awake, alert and contented for a good part of her session, allowing us to get plenty of great eye contact shots. But boy, once she went to sleep, she slept as deeply as a week-old baby! She was just a perfect little model.
We had some fantastic variety at this session, but this classic sleepy shot is today’s sneak preview for H’s mummy and daddy! Enjoy
