Just one little teaser from last weekend’s session. With that adorable little face, those chubby cheeks and blond curls, every time I took a shot of little R I just couldn’t help thinking that he looks just like a sweet little cherub! (I promise I won’t photoshop any wings on him though! Ha!) The shoot took place at his grandparents’ beautiful farmhouse near Alton, what a fabulous place for portraits that was. We got so much variety! More to come in the next few weeks

Fun in the Sun Fleet, Guildford, Farnborough Children’s Photographer

Meet 10-month-old baby T, cute as a button, and his sweet big sisters L and K. On the occasion of T’s first ever professional portraits, we went for a walk around Hartley Wintney, strawberry picking with his big sisters at first (while he took a cool morning nap), and then around the town’s beautiful common. What little troopers all three of them were – even on such a hot day, they soldiered on like real pros! I am so proud of them and the beautiful portraits we got on the day. Here are a few of my favourites!

Special thanks go to Daddy for scaring away the angry goose from this lovely little spot.

One Andover, Alton, Fleet Children’s Photographer

The last time I met little T’s family, last September, it was on the occasion of his big sister’s one-year-old portraits (remember?). This gorgeous little man was only a couple of months old at the time, and slept soundly throughout the session – so I never got a chance to photograph him. But fortunately, I had the pleasure of being invited back by the lovely P family last weekend, as T has just turned one and it’s now his turn to have his portraits taken!

Just like last time, we visited some really fantastic locations right on the family’s doorstep near Andover, and came away with a great set of portraits for T and of course, plenty of his big brother and sister too. Although, you’ll have to stay tuned for those Here’s a little taster of what’s to come!

Birthday Laughs Reading, Wokingham, Newbury Child Photographer

Mr C, we meet again! This time, rather than walking around the park, we stayed in and welcomed C’s friends, who came to celebrate his 5th birthday party with him. Everyone had a lovely time, and the biggest laughs were heard when Brekk the magician made an appearance. C and his friends were enthralled! Happy birthday little guy – and here are a few of my favourites from the day. Enjoy!

Like many other mums, I take tons of snapshots of my girls every month. I like documenting their day-to-day lives and always look back very fondly at those thousands of photos at the end of each year! But birthday are quite special and I like to have more than just snapshots of those big milestones – a ‘proper’ portrait shoot is in order on those occasions (not that they are particularly fussed at the moment – but they will be happy to have these portraits of themselves one day, hopefully!).

It was one of these occasions just a couple of weeks ago, when my little Maya turned two years old. Like many children her age, she doesn’t really enjoy ‘posing’ (or being told what to do, for that matter!), so I chose to take her on a new activity that I knew she’d love – strawberry picking! So off we went to the local PYO farm, punnet in hand, exploring rows upon rows of plants carrying juicy strawberries. As you can tell from the photos below, this worked beautifully! These shots are really ‘her’ to a tee, they show her bright and inquisitive look that I love so much, and what’s best – no tantrums were had at any point of our visit (well, maybe when it was time to go home!).

So here she is – cheeky Miss Maya at two years old.

Pastel Spring Session Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey Child Photographer

More from the session with the two sweet little sisters I photographed a couple of weeks ago in Oakley. What a fun session! It was a balmy late April afternoon, and we ran, twirled and giggled lots all throughout. But what I love the most, is that we were able to capture some really tender moments like this one:

They even showed me some of their favourite poses

It was nice to see them happy and relaxed!

With only 17 months between them, it is easy to see how A and E are not just sisters – they share a beautiful friendship that will accompany them throughout their lives. This very special relationship made it all the more delightful to take their portraits last weekend – their interactions were so much fun to watch and capture! So much character and sass, both of them – reminds me of a little girl I know well

I’ve known each of these three beautiful girls since they were born; indeed, the eldest and my eldest are only 3 days apart in age! And yet, with our hectic lives, I rarely get a chance to photograph them. Madness, right? So finally last weekend, while our families were enjoying a walk around the neighbourhood, picking flowers and visiting the local playground, I seized the chance to snap a few. These images make my heart happy, so I wanted to share with you all

Madame Spring has kept us waiting a bit longer than usual this year, but it won’t be long now – the daffodils are out, budding leaves can be seen on the bare trees, temperatures are rising. So I am being optimistic, trying to ignore what should be the last of the bad weather, and instead focusing on the beautiful scenery that will (hopefully!) be here in just a few more days. After all, the BBC promises it is going to be a spring to remember, and the Beeb never lies, right?

This is a great time to book your springtime child or family session at your favourite locations all around Hampshire and Berkshire! And remember – if it’s gorgeous bluebells portraits you’re after, the season for them is just around the corner (early to mid May), and it’s only short – only two weeks long. So get in touch ASAP to reserve your spot!
