In just a few weeks’ time, Evie and Nick will welcome their first baby to the world. We went for a stroll at Dinton Pastures, near Wokingham, to capture some natural maternity portraits of the mum- and dad-to-be – Spring is a great time to be expecting! Here is one of my favourites from the day; Evie’s radiant smile lights up the scene, and Nick gazes at his beautiful wife with adoration. It doesn’t get much better than that… Not until baby comes along, anyway!
Warning – this is a large share! Over the course of the years photographing this family, they have become good friends so I was especially overjoyed to become ‘Auntie Cristina’ to their second baby, Lyoto, who arrived on Valentine’s Day. Just one that melts my heart from yesterday’s newborn photo session with baby Samuel, who was 11 days old on the day. The glorious sunshine was definitely our friend!

I have been fortunate enough to work with the R family over the course of the past couple of years, photographing first baby Isla when she was born, a family photo session last Spring and now their gorgeous new arrival, baby Jonah. He was only a week old when these images were taken, and he was just perfect. I wish you a wonderful and happy life, little one – you certainly have a great start, with such a loving family behind you.

Let me tell you – choosing which ones to show from this Autumn family photo session was a hard task! But then again, when you see so many genuine smiles and love in a family, it’s hard not to want to share. So you’ll excuse the overload
