Some of our closest family friends, the Bs, came to visit a couple of weeks ago. My eldest daughter and theirs have been friends literally since they were born and, whenever time allows, it is my absolute pleasure to immortalise their friendship and growing beauty. The other two B children are equally sweet and beautiful – a photographer’s dream… It is obvious that both Richard and Sarah are smitten with their little girls, and quite rightly so. So the girls all donned their favourite summer dresses and off we went for a walk in a field of dandelions here in Beasingstoke. Here are some of my (many!) favourites from the day. My own girlies also make a cameo appearance!

About a month late but definitely worth waiting for! A wonderful year of baby and family sessions in pictures (and words).

It was Autumn, but it was still pretty agreeable out there. (Well, apart from the rain. Ha!) Little Molly wasn’t so sure about me at first but, with the help of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, we became great friends and captured some of my favourite outdoors portraits of 2011. Thank you, little lady – everything about you was adorable, even the very strong headed “NO!”s that made me smile – coming from such a little person!

An extraordinarily mild winter this ( or better, last!) year has meant that I was able to take outdoors baby and family photo sessions right up until the beginning of December. This beautiful family were my last outdoors clients in 2011, and the year certainly went out with a bang – we captured an amazing set of images of little Oliver and his Mummy and Daddy, and I look forward to sharing more with you soon. In the meantime, here is a little taster of what’s to come!

Here’s a lovely session that slipped the net, as it were! Warm end of October sunshine, Kew Gardens and a beautiful family that travelled all the way from Texas to visit the UK. My brief – to capture them among some British architectural landmarks, on the occasion of baby Anorah’s first birthday.

Now that we are *definitely* in the throes of winter, it is wonderful to look back at one of my most colourful autumn photo sessions of the year. 10-month-old Lyla and her Mummy and Daddy were just incredible – we had *the* best time together, the morning just went so quickly. I just adore these natural portraits of them just being themselves in the autumn sunshine! Thanks guys – it was a real pleasure to meet you.

Then, back home for a mini shoot of Lyla in her gorgeous Christening dress, and just chillaxing with her toys

On a truly gorgeous sunny day last weekend, I met one of the cutest little families EVER. 10-month-old Lyla and her mummy and daddy came out for a lovely walk in the fresh air – we immortalised a leisurely explore around the woods near their home in Aldershot. Beautiful light and beautiful people – once again, I’m a lucky little photographer indeed

Here’s just one little teaser, one of my favourites from the day – Miss Lyla giving out a huge smile while looking out at the leaves swaying in the breeze all around us.

I met the G family on a sunny, unseasonably warm autumn day in Kew Gardens. I am convinced that they brought the sunshine all the way from Texas! Our photo shoot took us all around some of the beautifully preserved historic buildings all around the gardens. I met little Oisín and his Mummy and Daddy a few weeks ago for an outdoors photo session, with the purpose to capture some natural portraits and expressions for this lovely young family. With a beautiful location all to ourselves, we took our time playing and exploring, and came away with a perfect set of images!
