After a refreshing two-week break, I could not have wished for a better return to work two days ago with this incredibly beautiful newborn baby girl. A little shy at first, they soon warmed up to having their photo taken on what felt like an extended playdate on a warm August afternoon! I seem to remember quite a bit of chasing and peek-a-booing on the day – and the best of all – lots of giggles and smiles. Thank you for such an enjoyable session – I truly adore the images we got, it was so hard to narrow it down to the ones I am showing here!

I had big plans for these images – I had pictured a field of poppies or wildflowers at sunset, and her little wooden horse. But sometimes little children have their own grand plans :) So we never actually did get to the field. Thankfully, our neighbourhood has some very pretty spots, so we went out of an early evening while moods were high, and came back with a very simple set of classic images that I was very pleased with!
