It’s been almost exactly a year since I first met Sara-Jayne and Gavin. They were expecting baby Jensen at the time, and had decided to book my Belly to Baby package for some maternity and newborn photos of their little bundle. I have since photographed their little family (or Jensen on his own) four times, the last of which last weekend, just in time for Christmas! Every single time, they’ve been such a pleasure to photograph – I’m just blown away at how natural they are in front of the camera, at the genuine smiles and happiness that pop out of every single frame. Just like this one!

Miss G is turning five in December, and I just cannot believe what a big girl she’s turned into! One of the best things about her growing up is that she’s a lot happier to ‘be the star’ in front of the camera these days and no longer shying away from me. So off we went on a casual explore in the open land just behind our local Argos (of all places!) so I could capture a few of her, just being herself. We only had a quick half hour before we lost all light, but we managed a good run around (and much hilarity ensued when mummy stepped into *something* a naughty doggie left behind!)

So, to my sweet little G – here you are in all your beauty, just a few weeks before your fifth birthday. Love, Mummy xxx
